Tour Description



We drive you around majestic skyscrapers and crowded streets in Bangkok before making our first stop at Wat Traimit. This temple houses the magnificent statue of Golden Buddha – world’s largest solid gold statue weighing an impressive 5.5 tons, 10 feet high and worth 250 million dollars. This is your chance to understand Thailand’s traditions and culture.

We now proceed to Wat Benchamabophit – The Marble Temple. It is one of Bangkok’s most modern and striking temples. This temple exhibits unique fusion of Turkish & Thai architecture. There is a European influence in the architecture of The Marble Buddha temple as well. The main statute of Buddha in The Marble Temple is a copy of Phra Buddha Chinarat that resides in Phitsanulok in northern Thailand.

The oldest temple in Bangkok, dating back to the 17th century, Wat Pho houses more than 1,000 Buddha images in addition to the huge reclining figure which is why the name – Reclining Buddha Temple which houses more than 1,000 Buddha images in addition to the huge reclining figure. Wat Pho is the birthplace of traditional Thai massage.

The establishment of Gems Gallery - the world’s biggest jewellery and gems centre – was inspired by Thailand's position as a major global gems and jewellery dealer as well as cutting centre.

Itinerary

  • Pick up from Hotel (morning or afternoon departure).
  • Visit the three temples with explanation from tour guide.
  • Begin with Wat Trimitr where you will see the stunning statue of Golden Buddha. Proceed to Wat Pho the temple of the magnificent statue of Buddha in reclining position before you head towards the temple with the perfect blend of Thai and European architecture - The Marble Temple.
  • Get to see main parts of Bangkok City (tour on vehicle).
